All PE Solution Ltd (PES) armed guards are Ghanaian Naval personnel. This is in accordance with local regulations, which means that only host nation forces are allowed to provide armed maritime security services in Ghana territorial waters.
Being a home-grown company based in Ghana and not operating through a third party or local partner ensures a robust, direct working relationship with the Navy in both East (Tema) and West (Takoradi) Command.
The armed guards that are chosen to provide maritime security operations are well versed in commercial maritime security services. Prior to embarkation all security teams have a comprehensive face to face brief from a PES liaison officer (LO). All our LO’s are ex Ghana Naval personnel that have conducted commercial maritime security operations. Our LO’s can also embark with the security team to enhanced command and control and provide the link between the Master, PES, and the onshore authorities.
All regulatory requirements have been met to allow PES to operate hand in hand with the Ghanaian Navy, holding the necessary licenses and an MOU which can be provided on request, and we welcome any Due Diligence.
